Birding Washington state

Birding Washington state, one week in February 2010

A magic 5 days birding with buddy Knut Hansen in chilly Washington state, 3-8 Feb 2010.
We started in West Seattle on the morning of 3 Feb before driving up to the Waterville Plateau and Bridgeport State Park.
Okanogan Highlands were birded on 4-5 Feb with American Three-toed Woodpecker and Rosy Finch being target species. Waterville Plateau in the afternoon before reaching Seattle again.
Feb 6 saw us bright and early at the Nisqually River Delta before reaching Westport and my long-time target species of Rock Sandpiper. Overnight at Lake Quinault.
Olympic Peninsula on Feb 7 with Lake Quinault, Kalaloch beach and City of Forks before arriving at Port Angeles and target species Thayer's Gull.
Sequim was birded on 8 Feb before heading back to Seattle and Dubai.
